About the event
I’m so excited to be part of Talipapa Market on Friday, October 3, hosted by the Filipino Community of Seattle to kick off Filipino American Heritage Month. Talipapa (a Tagalog word meaning “temporary makeshift market”) is rooted in Filipino community tradition and brings together food, art, music, and culture.
I’ll be set up Friday only, sharing Tita Bun Collective’s original Filipino-inspired embroidery designs. These pieces are crafted to honor culture and community while blending contemporary style with storytelling through thread.
